Leadership

Amy is a graduate of Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.  She believes in being a lifelong- learner, so she recently graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Her master's degree in Family and Community services in helping engage and equip parents to be the best they can be.  Amy's current scope of ministry at Immanuel, where she's has been called since 1995, includes managing the coffee shop, thr3e, and community outreach ministry.

Immanuel's coffee shop, thr3e, is where Amy can frequently be located ordering RedBull and bagels, assembling meal plans, and immersed in conversation with the high school students who frequent the shop.

One of the verses that guides Amy's ministry is
Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged; for the Lord, your God will be with you where you go."

Amy's most important ministry and legacy are being a Godly mom to her three children; sons, Casey and Jayson, and daughter Shelby. She also loves the adventure that her dog and cats bring to their house. Amy loves gardening, canning, reading, traveling, reading fiction and real crime books, and trying new crafts, you know, in all her spare time.

His personal life's mission statement is, "Living the adventure of life motivated by GOD's Grace sharing that reality with others!". He is a graduate of Judson University with an emphasis in Leadership & Management and of Concordia Theological Seminary. Garrett is second career into the ministry and has since served as a Mission Developer and in Revitalization Church Movements. Garrett has been on staff at Immanuel since 2015. He loves going HIS way and helping people answer, "What is Christ in you just dying to do?"

Michelle has served at Immanuel on the preschool staff since 2005.  She enjoys building relationships with preschool families and their children.  Michelle is a graduate of WWU and has been married to her husband John since 1993.  The Barger’s have two boys Tyler and Trevor, both preschool alumni.  Michelle LOVES Diet Coke from McDonald's, going to the movies and vacationing on Maui.
